The present is the second American edition of this work. It contains references to the American and English authorities down to the present time, and embraces some decisions which had been omitted from the first edition. Many of the notes have been enlarged, and some entirely rewritten. An Appendix of Forms has been added, which' has been drawn principally from Seton on Decrees, but which has been made up somewhat from cases in actual practice in this country. The index has been enlarged, and the references carefully.
