In order to understand Thanksgiving, we must begin with knowing something of the history of Thanksgiving. Who held the first Thanksgiving? For what were the people thankful?Not only does this book give a brief look into the history of Thanksgiving, and those events leading up to that first observation of this holiday, but we then continue on to something more pressing: how the Bible addresses thankfulness. Throughout the Psalms, we find that there are countless times in which thankfulness is mentioned and explained. All of this is in reference to how we should view and worship God. It is all about Jesus.
