When young Dragon Princess Kokola returns from the Far East, she wishes with all her heart to bring dragons and humans together in the West also. She knows this will not be easy because of old enmities and fears. The first human she meets is an elf healer named Gilly, who kindly fixed her broken wing so that she can fly home. A wonderful friendship between dragon and elf ensues. Looking out for one another starts from then on. Kokola's dragon family helps in saving Gilly's abducted daughter Laura from three evil dragon rascals, who are holding her for ransom. After two days of fierce battling between rivaling dragon clans over the elf girl, Kokola finds that a truce can be achieved and also the promise of peace in their mountain world. More joyous fellowships and festivities result through the exercise of compassion rather than vengeful reactions. Magic features high for dragons and elves. Life becomes more fun with new friendly alliances that reach even beyond Kokolone Mountains.
