Publisher's Synopsis

Damon Cittone, a young man who is liked by all, will help anyone, including those he can't, gets caught up in the 1960's drug world and never recovers. He is consumed by the street poison and meets his demise. On his deathbed he convinces his best friend to make him the fall guy for a crime the friend committed since the young man knows he won't see tomorrow. They agree and the youngster passes. The friend is cleared and uses his influence in town to open a center for troubled street youth. The friend is assisted in the endeavor by the many friends and acquaintances he made from years of working for the city. He knew builders, zoning reps, planners, financiers, and licensing reps. The center becomes a success, and without it, many would be street dwellers or criminals. The center steers them in the right direction. Twenty-five years elapse and the son of both principles develop a relationship, never knowing of their respective parents' tight knit friendship.
