Publisher's Synopsis

Set in New York in the vibrant 21st century, the book tells the tale of an easygoing girl, Antara, who got herself a job in USA after completion of MS, through a series of e-mails between father and daughter and at times, the usual narratives. No doubt, she too had followed the rising trend amongst Indian students, especially the greenhorn engineers, to move towards seemingly greener pastures in USA to pursue MS and continue thereafter. While the young engineers struggle to stay alive in the US job market, aged parents find themselves in a quandary when forced to live in an alien land detached from their roots. There is no denying that Antara too had found it hard to resist the 'America Calling', but never forgot her roots. This is the third book by the author. His other books include ñA Town by the Riverî (2009) and ñWithered Leavesî (2011).
