Publisher's Synopsis

I was born in Pakistan and spent approximately half of my life in that country. I am much familiar with the culture of the East and the West. Therefore, during these turbulent and chaotic times in the world, I think it is my duty to make an effort to write a synopsis of my favorite book, the Quran, which would serve as a bridge between the three major religions of the world; Christianity, Islam and Judaism and would be instrumental in promoting peace in the world. During my discussions with my colleagues on religious matters, I realized how little an average American knows about the true Islam. Many of my colleagues advised me to write a book so that I can educate an average American about the real message of the Quran, which is completely opposite to what has been projected by a handful of misguided, uneducated, extremist Muslims in the world and some ill-informed critics in the West. I have purposely kept this book "short and sweet" so that it can be read by the masses who have a real thirst for an "easy to read" book on the Quran. I have also endeavored to broach and explain the verses most frequently cited by the ardent critics of the Quran. Its target audience is, therefore, people at large throughout the world. For Non-Muslims this book is intended to summarize the real message of Islam. For Muslims this book would be a "quick guide" to refer to on a regular basis.
