Dahlia had always been on her own. It was something that she had been used to since her family had been publicly disgraced by her father's mistakes. She took to the sea at an early age, running from parents that still grieved their loss of station. She quickly got her own ship, ready to fight the good fight and go down in infamy as a pirate. Her crew trusts her, and she knows it. They would follow her to the ends of the earth to rob and pillage. It all goes well until she runs into Count Anthony Pritchard. It was an accident, but it happened and it didn't take long for her to figure out exactly what she had been missing in her life. The problem is that Anthony belongs to a different world. A world that she could never really live in. Not anymore. She doesn't belong on land and she knows that. She's a buccaneer and he's a nobleman.
