One of my first memories of my Mother-in-law was her cooking. I can't remember what the meal consisted of but, she did make White Acre Peas, and I fell in love. It was a staple she made every Christmas just for me. She was one of the first female minister's in the Church of God denomination. She passed away in June of 2018, and she left behind an enormous heritage for our daughters in being a trailblazer, but also by her love of cooking and sharing a meal with those around her. This cookbook is her legacy, and we are grateful that she shared so much with her children and grandchildren.
