Publisher's Synopsis
my short stories include "Stolen Candy," drifter and amateur private detective Joe Victor searches for his girlfriend's abducted sister, Candace. "Macabre Nest" has an archaeologist named Jiaou whose mind works like a Ouija board. He seeks a certain suit of armor as an historic find. Helen Brisone lost her hand to the enchanted cutlass of her pirate husband, Thaddeus the Treacherous. She seeks the suit of armor because it's been told to hold the secret to overcome fear. Along the way, they meet up with fearful creatures, Cacklegrim the Witch, Queen Norma royal wife of King Melyorg ruler of all vampires, and an evil stick figure of a man who calls himself Mr. Rigor Mortis. Mr. Mortis has two pets, both spiders the size of boulders. In "He's Everywhere!," Xan Ikben's mother abandoned her as a child to be with her Earthling lover. A grown up Xan has learned about a half Earthling brother she never knew she had. Xan just wants to fly to Earth and meet her half brother. But is pursued by a shape shifting stalker. Her only friend is a genie. Or is he just another form her stalker has taken? In "Detour To The Old West," rebellious teen Amanda Collins gets an attitude adjustment when she suddenly finds herself back in 1871. A time and place where her modern day attitude is not acceptable. As she continues to live among the people from that era, a big change comes to her heart. But will she ever get back to her own time? Or will she live and die over a hundred and fifty years before her birth? My poems begin with a humorous look at the long ago B Westerns.
