Nurse Coaching is a specialty role in nursing that is transforming care delivery. Nurse Coaches pursue lifestyle factors with specific Nurse Coaching competencies to enhance their clients quality of life, as well as nursing self-development. Nurse Coaching is sustainable inasmuch as it is cost effective, quality care. Now it is time to clear the way for access to these services in independent community practices, contracts with private and federally-qualified health care homes, consultants for redesigning systems for human-centered care, and as community stakeholders for healthy communities.
