Publisher's Synopsis
Obi wakes up to a beautiful day only to find his house turned into a battle theatre between the Nigerian soldiers who are executing a coup to topple a democratic regime, and members of the State Secret Service, the SSS, whose prime duty is to protect Mr. President. By stroke of luck, he saves the president, but then finds himself laden with the duty of safeguarding Mr. President when every member of his security detail have been killed. He is left with the impossible duty of safeguarding the president from the military in the heavy militarised city. More to his tragedy is that the president is very unpopular among the civilian population, who are ever willing to see his downfall. As things unfold, it is discovered that the coup is being funded by a foreign oil company, run by a sinister secret gang. The coup triggers series of unfortunate events that resulted in a complete breakdown of law and order in the most populous black nation on earth. More unbelievable things are discovered that guaranteed that the lives of Obi and everyone involved will never remain same.
