This book was originally started as a diary, but at the end of our journey I decided that other motorists might enjoy reading about What we had accomplished in so short a time, and the general public be interested in the variety of the trip and the illustra tions, many of Which have not been used before. I have not attempted a guidebook in any sense, but it may prove of some value in that capacity.
