Sir Anthony Hope Hawkins (1863-1933), better known as Anthony Hope, was a British novelist, the counterpart to France's Alexandre Dumas (author of The Three Musketeers). Best known today for his novel The Prisoner of Zenda, he published A Man of Mark, his first novel (a political satire), in 1890.
