Publisher's Synopsis

'A Life for a Life' is a story about revenge and political ambition set mainly in the United States. It begins by bringing together three very different characters who witness a tragedy whilst at the same university in England. Twenty five years later George Hargreaves, PPS to the British Foreign Secretary, Richard Sorenson, a senior Congressman in the US House of Representatives and Abdel Banu Hashim, a Saudi born member of al Qaeda are again brought together as the Saudi plots to assassinate the US President. Congressman Richard Sorenson, whilst being blackmailed by Banu Hashim, sees an opportunity to realise his burning ambition and further his own Presidential prospects. The reader is kept guessing as to what Richard's true intentions are and what will be the final outcome.
