Publisher's Synopsis
Dragons, once the source of good but now, the symbol of death and destruction. Half-dragons, feared just like dragons. Sir Ambrose "the Dragon-slayer" Silverwood is the best that the world has seen to follow Sir Toreshvog. His mission is to kill a half-dragon/half-human woman that resides in the village of Rivasonne. He begins by studying her to find her weaknesses. As he does so, he is confronted with a contradiction: a caring mother to orphans and not a hording blood thirsty beast that he normally encounters. If he kills her, there would be one less dragon in the world, but he also takes away the orphans primary source of income. If he does not kill her, Ambrose will be going against the dragon-slayer number one rule: never let a dragon live half or not.
