Publisher's Synopsis
A Kangaroo in the Cupboard is a vivid retelling of the nursery rhyme: "Old Mother Hubbard." Momma Hubbard goes to the cupboard to get her old dog a bone. However, she finds Kangaroo in the cupboard instead.
As in the tradition of the original nursery rhyme, Momma Hubbard would like to find something to give Dog, since his dog-bone is missing. However, she finds that Dog is also missing.
Along her journey to please Dog, she meets many other animal friends. Some of her animal friends are exotic, just like the places she visits. Finally, she finds Dog vacationing on a lovely isle!
