Publisher's Synopsis

Welcome to Altar City, the grimy metropolis beneath which millions of tunnels stretch like spiderwebs, filled with every sort of abomination, cutthroat and svengali. It is from these treacherous depths that the enigmatic Some Cult has appeared, led by Glory, the (in)famous Birdman of Alvarado, and the fabulous Mister Rabbit, the Saint of Echo Park.

A Jazz Funeral tells the origin story of Mister Rabbit, Buckingham Suede, Bon Ridley Scott and the Banshee, beginning in the swamps of New Orleans and traveling (via ghost train) to the bowels of Altar City. The book contains clues and hidden messages, guiding the reader down the rabbit hole and into the underworld of these bizarre creatures - who actually exist.

You see, Some Cult is a rogue band of anonymous artists, musicians, technicians, vandals and thieves. They are currently preparing their live show for the stage, to be brought to life in the phantom venue "The Shadow Caberet." Live performances are expected to begin fall 2018.
