Celebrations for the Adams family... It is 1956 and Boots Adams is celebrating his sixtieth birthday with a good old-fashioned cockney knees-up. A good time is had by all, even though Gemma James and the rest of the younger people insist that the music has to be rock and roll. The new generation is growing up fast, and changes are on the way in Adams Fashions too, where Boots and Sammy have difficult decisions to make regarding a take-over.
