Publisher's Synopsis
One morning, three total strangers-Gabrielle, Joe, and George-get in their cars to go about their daily routines. They all are headed to different destinations. They all find themselves in the same traffic jam. And they all end up in a horrible accident.
Each character has been searching for something more in life, but none of them realize that this "something more" they've been longing for is waiting for them in the afterlife.
As Gabrielle, Joe, and George-along with Gabrielle's dog, Bear-learn what the afterlife holds in store for them, they soon discover their work is not done. In order to move on from the world of the living, they must all work together and help those still on earth. Now that time has no hold on them, they are suddenly able to leap across eras to improve the lives of others in ways they could have never imagined.
Will these flawed individuals tap into their own capacity for goodness and strength? Or will they be forever stuck in this limbo?
