The land is fruitful, but divided by high inaccellible rocky mountains covered with inow, the river Dulce falling into the bay on the call fide. Their houles are but a mat rounded at the top like an oven, which they turn as the wind changes, having no door to keep it out. They have left off their cullom of healing, but know no God or religion. The air and water are very whole rome. Here are abundance of cows, antelopes, baboons, pheafants, partridges, larks, Wild geele, ducks, and many other forts. On the die of Penguin is a fort of fowl of that name, that goes upright, his wings without feathers, hanging down like ?eeves faced with white. They do not ?y, but only walk in parcels, keeping regularly their own quarters; they are a fort of mixture of bealt, bird, and filh, but molt bird. Th commodities here are cattle, nangin roots, and I believe there is a rock yielding quick hlver. The table mountain is eleven thouland eight hundred and fifty three foot high.
