He married Barbara Frances GASPICH on October 14, 1920, in McKee's Rocks, Pennsylvania. They had five children in 13 years. He died on July 24, 1955, in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, at the age of 61, and was buried in the family cemetery at St. Mary's Cemetery, McKee's Rocks, Pennsylvania.
