Publisher's Synopsis
In this novel: Meg and Judy, two friends, are involved in a business propostiion owning a restaurant, called the "Coffee Nook." Judy unknown to Meg comes from wealth with many unknown problems involved growing up. Presently: the two making a cash transation at a bank, Judy spots the woman stepmother-fugitive (married to her dad and killed her dad) standing at the next teller. Outside Meg and her follow the fugitive.She has two sons, step brothers to Judy Melton. Matters don't go good that day they even ruin Judy's boyfriend, Jeb's truck in the whole mess not paying attention and driving in a ditch. They think the two stepbrothers wanted to ruin them more when a large vehicle smashes the truck (them outside )scooting up the nearby hill.
