Meghan Miller is feeling lost and alone. It's the beginning of a new school year and her first year in middle school. She doesn't know anyone in her classes at her new school. She doesn't even see her long-time best friend anymore. Always painfully shy, Meghan finds herself having trouble trying to make new friends. On top of that, Meghan, never the best student, is struggling with her classes, and struggling to adapt to all the changes of middle school. Then she meets a 7th grade girl named Mirabelle at lunchtime, and the two girls start to become friends. Over time, Mirabelle introduces her to Someone who wants to be her forever friend. Someone who will never, ever leave her, no matter how much time goes by. Meghan starts to see just how special she is in God's eyes, and that He will always be there, ready to help her. Written for girls ages 9-12, the Angels Among Us series offers stories of hope and encouragement. These stories show that in times of trials and stress, when things are looking especially low, it is then that God sends His angels to be with us.
