Publisher's Synopsis
A young duckling, exposed at the right moment to a human care-giver, will thing that person is its mother. Luckily, ducks are also born with enough instinct to survive, just the same. What does a young man do when he discovers himself in a hostile world, unequipped with any applicable instinct, where there is no guidance nor any commensurate peers? Who can he turn to? How will he live? He must learn to swim.
