Excerpt from A Few Historical Facts in Relation to the German Reformed Salem Sunday School of Harrisburg, Penn'a
Article 1. The society shall be known by the name, style and title of the Salem Sunday School Society of the Borough of Harrisburg.
Art. 2. The Society shall meet semi-annually on the second Mon day of April and October. At their meeting in April they shall elect one President, a Secretary, Treasurer, and nine Managers, which Mana gers shall appoint from their body one President and Secretary, all of whom shall serve for the ensuing year, each of which may be re-eligible at any succeeding election.
