As a proud darkness dragon, there are not many things that can vanquish me or my pride. I, Nightly, darkness dragon to Connie Whitsburg, am not to be trifled with. I am a lethal being that is a protector to my whisperer above all else. At least, that's what I kept telling myself until a rogue whisperer and his fire dragon made themselves known to us and the Mystic Realm. It wasn't too long after our battle with the mage, Edgar, and the witch, Gini, that the rogue whisperer and dragon made their appearance, and it wasn't a coincidence.
Connie found out that she was with child after the battle. With the expectancy of the child, she became a greater target to our enemies. The rogue whisperer is strategic, powerful, and unashamed to murder to obtain his desires. He commands a collection of rogue mages and has access to ancient knowledge and power. Worst of all, he turns dragons into humans and has his dragon eat them.
If we don't stop this madman and his dragon, no dragon or whisperer will be safe, including me, Connie, and her child. Are there more ways than one to fulfill your duty?
