A Doll's House is the author's three-act play in prose, premiered at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's about a housewife who became unhappy with her condescending husband. Ibsen's autographed manuscripts of A Doll's House were inscribed on the Memory of the World Register in 2001 by UNESCO, in recognition of their historical value.
