When Bernard Prior approaches his second cousin Sheila Malory in order to research their genealogy, she considers it nothing more than a bore, but what seems like an innocent pastime soon turns into something more sinister. Bernard dies in suspicious circumstances while he and his wife are visiting Sheila, and family secrets start to emerge. Whilst renowned as a bore and a bully, there seems no motive for his cold-blooded murder, but Sheila realises that his research may have turned up more than a collection of old photographs. Who knows what secrets are buried in the family past?
