Publisher's Synopsis
A compelling tale of three children Ella,13, Bessie, 11 and Jude, 6, whose mother has been killed in a car accident. The girls are left to fend for themselves when, without any warning, their father disappears leaving them completely alone. The sisters are too frightened to tell an adult as they are terrified of being taken into care and possibly separated.
