Publisher's Synopsis

A cry for Freedom tells the story of a Christian man and a Muslim woman who fell in love and married despite cultural forbiddance and of their search for freedom in a country they could call their own. They fled from Pakistan to China, where the wife came to know Christ and two daughters were born to them. Later compelled to flee China to different parts of the world, they were relentlessly pursued by enemies hell-bent on forcing them back to Pakistan, where certain death awaited the parents and coerced conversion to Islam would be the lot of their daughters. Trapped in a cage of fear, treachery, and rejection, yet somehow they always saw the over-arching hand of God.In 2017 they finally found a country that might take them. But first they had to spend nearly three months confined in a refugee camp, in constant peril from evil men. Through it all, they focused on the fact that regardless of what we have, who we are, or where we live, only the love of Christ binds families together in the toughest, most terrible times.
