Publisher's Synopsis
This book was initially intended as a speech to be read out at the Ruskin Club of Oakland near San Francisco in 1905. Bear in mind that this was before the Soviet Union, before Stalin and Lenin, even before the October Revolution and the end of the Tzars. As a historical document it is very interesting to glimpse the context of the times at this speech, bearing in mind the future outcome of the Russian Empire and of the world that was to be the XXth Century.
