INTRODUCTION This thesis is explicitly advancing Richard Rorty's political philosophy, which has been characterized as 'Liberalism'. Richard Rorty's liberalism is completely separated from all forms of 'authoritarianism' on both levels, religious and secular. Richard Rorty rejects the idea that there are principles without question (undoubted) that exist independently of, and this form is called 'anti-foundationalism' and Richard Rorty's Political Philosophy is a form of this anti-foundationalism. So, according to Rorty, there are no foundations and justifications for our everyday social and political practices. Moreover, he intentionally suggests that it should be considered for a particular purpose or that his descriptions entail logically the anti-thesis of ethical commitment and the justification of moral practices.
