Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from A Cost-Benefit Analysis of the Faculty Health Survey Program
A vast majority of the articles are concerned with one or more of the following themes. First, what are-or better still. What should be-the goals and objectives of such programs? Second, uhat should a typical or complete physical examination consist of? And third, what have been the findings in these exams; i.a., what hitherto undiscovered conditions have been uncovered and how serious are these conditions? Few of the papers discussed the cost of administering such exaus and only three out of all the articles examined attempted to quantify the benefits which accrued to the effort.
