Publisher's Synopsis
This work catalogs the broken English I heard and saw in emails and such while teaching English in China. It is primarily addressed, of course, to the Chinese learner of English, but this work will also be of use to learners of English from backgrounds other than Chinese, because broken English, regardless of its source, has much in common: over-reliance on rudimentary vocabulary, with a concomitant avoidance of tricky grammatical expressions.
