Chance Encounter follows the, long distance, modern day love story of a 38 years old Nigerian corporate Tax Director, Kunle; and a 35 years old American Marketing Executive, Maria. Their love story began the moment Maria slid into Kunle's DM (direct messaging) on Instagram while he was in her city on business. The story follows their life as they both balance adulting; professional careers, family, lives filled with adventures, and an attempt to build the foundation for their unique love story.
Though modern dating is challenging, Kunle and Maria encountered each other at an opportune time as they both knew what they wanted in a life partner. However, we don't always get what we want, do we?
The story is an escape that feels very relatable, realistic, and would melt the hearts of people in their youth (counts if only youthful minded) that are open minded to a love that feels so effortless. The story starts off in Pittsburg, where Maria lived, and Connecticut where Kunle lived; then follows the couple on various adventures to tropical destinations including Barbados, Cuba, Zanzibar, Miami, etc. as they fall madly in love with each other and kill it in life.
