To some of the articles I have appended a few remarks that I hope will prove of use. In one or two instances these have ex tended to an inordinate length; the explanation of which is that students of Welsh history have no special literary vehicle of regular and tolerably frequent appearance, such as a minor Englz'sk Historical Review, where such notes would find an appropriate place.
