Publisher's Synopsis

So many Americans, are proud of their Native American heritage, and would love more than anything to be apart of their ansotors culture. Sadly, due to forced relocations, assimilation, and the most unspoken about genocide, on American soil, most who find that their heritage was lost, and they wish to reclaim it, can't. Rather they don't know where to begin. This was my story, and how I got started. I was one of these Americans, with a lost connection to my heritage. The longing that something was missing, and the need to gain it back. With complete determination, I pushed forward to understand how I could regain what was lost to me. In this book, I will share some of journey, and what I've learned along the way. I will help explain how to join one of "The Five Civilized Tribes in Oklahama", these are federal recognized tribes. Also, if you run into some hiccups along the way, and you can't join one of the Five Tribes. I will further help explain, how to join "The ECHOTA Cherokee Tribe of Alabama, which is a State recognized tribe. I will also, mention some other Federal Tribes, but by no means will it be all of them. This book is really ideal, for those of Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muskogee (Creek), or Seminole Native American descent, whose anstors, where more from the Southern region, to Southwest region. It will also have helpful hints, on dos and don'ts, on the application process. In no way do I claim to be a professional. I simply want to share what I've learned, to those who may have use of the knowledge, that I have obtained along way.
