William Mitchell's aim of A Biblical Tree Commentary is two fold. One is the physical discovery of what each tree mentioned in the Bible really is. The second and most important is the spiritual application from each tree with its particular habitat, properties and uses in the Scriptural context. Also included is the spiritual application of fundamental tree care and propagation techniques of plants and trees.
