He and his wife Sue have been married for thirty-three years and have two daughters, Becky and Shelly, and one son, Jamie. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University, a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University, a Master of Theology from Princeton, and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
