Friday 5:30 AM. I woke up as if I chose to. I looked over to see him still in front of my fireplace, sleeping. Josh, my costar in our romance movie, had been sleeping on the floor of my bedroom every night for two weeks. I had offered him one of my other bedrooms. He said he liked to wake in the middle of the night and hear me breathing. Then he winked and smiled. That smile that pushed those dimples into his cheeks and made this lapis blue eyes light up in the slim morning light.
"Maybe then I can make you fall in love with me." But that was Josh. He had a way of throwing words like flowers in the air, not expecting them to be caught. In two weeks, we had become best friends and I could see into him now. He was flirting with me. And I liked it.
That was not how I expected the year to begin that New Year's morning waking up with Olivia, a woman I barely knew. She was beautiful, but mostly a distraction. I was feeling like a dragon-a young man with no fire. But Josh had awakened something new in me. I didn't know it that day, but I was already falling in love with him.
