Communicating Over Troubled Waters

I have been keeping notes about my personal experiences with communication and I am finally ready to share some of them publicly. My contribution is to find the ideas that matter the most and connect them in a way that is highly achievable. The evolution of communication is an ongoing process. Despite the world of the web has bought individuals closer, the connection has to be rekindled at multiple levels. This book intends to dig deeper into the roots of communication by focusing on how one can be more assertive and empathetic while communicating. The backbone of this book is the seven different aspects of communication- public speaking, emotions in communication, social awareness, power distance index & mitigated speech, silence, assumptions in communication and lastly building connections through communication Each chapter advocates its relevance under the umbrella of communication through stories, case studies, real-life examples, tools, and techniques to overcome problems in communication. The stories, facts, case studies, experiments, and data shared in the book are from credible sources.
