The Veremons, the last vampire house in the world of Mea, faced numerous challenges in their quest for survival. Kalhas Veremon, a seasoned warrior and the family's patriarch, took great care to establish a sanctuary for his children and relatives in the unforgiving northern region. He built a magnificent mansion and ensured that they received the finest education, enabling them to seamlessly assimilate into human society and avoid the grim fate that befell their elder vampire counterparts.
However, the secrets of the Veremon household proved difficult to conceal indefinitely. The younger generation of the family yearned to venture out into the world and test their mettle, disregarding the stories from books and their father's tales of warfare that had shaped their upbringing. As time passed, they would discover that societal prejudices and their inherent vampiric nature presented formidable obstacles at every turn. They would come to realize that the safety and familiarity of the manor and surrounding lands could not shield them indefinitely from the perils that awaited beyond their sheltered existence.
