Christopher Lombard is a nice guy who is going through a rough patch. His girlfriend dumped him for an ex-boyfriend and then got him arrested on a bogus domestic violence charge. He's still making payments on the expensive furniture the two of them purchased together even though his girlfriend kept it when they split. And his female coworker was promoted before him in an obvious case of reverse-sexism. But everything is about to change when Chris finally allows access to the stray cat that has been demanding to enter his new apartment through the bedroom window.
