Publisher's Synopsis

The cult classic 1988 song "Goodbye Horses," which was used in The Silence of the Lambs, was performed by Q Lazzarus, who passed away at age 61. A death notice was issued for Diane Lazzarus, whose true name was Diane Luckey. Before her passing, Lazzarus had spent the previous three years collaborating with Aridjis to produce a film about her life and music. It will include previously unreleased songs and tales from the late vocalist. Since those first performances, "Goodbye Horses" has appeared in a variety of projects, including Clerks II and a Gucci commercial, although Q herself has remained out of the public eye. Sometime around the middle of the 1990s, she disappeared from the public eye. There has been considerable discussion and amateur web sleuthing over what happened to the cult singer.
Everything you need to know about Q Lazzarus's life, death, and how her ancestry endures is covered in this book by John Brown.
