Publisher's Synopsis
God is dead, but his children will soon be awakened. After the death of his wife, Von Castor and his best friend Seth Owen will fly to the planet Valor. They are enlisted in the team of commander Ora Dem-wise, who watches over Von as he familiarizes with the ways of their lives. Eventually Ora teaches Von a secret she's barely taught anyone else before. Meanwhile Captain Bly Orfield and the other members of the team go spying on their enemy, getting caught up in the resurrection of a god.
