This is the story of a superior CAT told in his own, superior words. He is a cat of very high principles, but sometimes because of the very odd patterns of human behaviour, they often turn out to be the reverse of what he planned. He follows an old lady from the restaurant where he lives to her home because she is very good with 'tit-bits' and finds himself running in horror from a house on fire and becomes the hero of the hour. He agrees to take part in a stage production of Dick Whittington - naturally - as he's the most handsome cat in the district. Catching a mouse backstage mid-production, becomes the star of the show. It is the pattern of his life and - being a generous animal - he lets us share it.
