Publisher's Synopsis
Dinosaurs. If Kat isn't running from one then it's from some other monster. Or at least that's how it always seems. Her parents and her best friend, James, along with her alt-history mother get dragged into her latest universe-hopping adventure. But Kat is not thrilled. Having the two versions of her mother together is like mixing TNT and nitroglycerin. You never know what type of explosion to expect, but you're probably going to get one. However, they must all come together if they're to rescue Kat's father and James after the two become hostages aboard a strange craft. One Kat suspects is from an unknown civilization of a universe yet to be discovered. And then the craft disappears, and they have no idea where it went.
Can they find the craft and solve its the mystery? Can Kat's father and her friend be rescued? Can Kat's family actually start acting like ... well, like a family?
