Publisher's Synopsis
The main objective of this book is to Stanley Hardy attention to the great importance of exercise at all ages. Those who stay in good physical condition will be better able to combat the typical well-being diseases and will contribute much more to the preservation or recovery of their health. At the same time, it must also be made clear that exercise and sport are not always beneficial to health in all its forms and at all ages. On the contrary, on many occasions, the choice of an inappropriate sport, the way it is practiced or the intensity that is not suitable for the individual in particular can produce more harm than good. Sport, therefore, is not in principle healthy nor does it help to keep fit, but depends, as we have said, on how it is practiced.
