The range for the solo trombone stretches to high A above the staff.This volume includes a score and individual parts for the soloist and five accompanying parts. The 5th trombone part could be played by tuba. If you'd rather feature a trumpet soloist, there is a score included with parts for solo trumpet with accompaniment by a brass quintet. Also included are optional trumpet parts so the work could be performed by a 5-part trumpet ensemble and soloist. The parts are interchangeable between both scores.
