Publisher's Synopsis
The corona pandemic has led to major interventions by society as a whole worldwide, which also affect the education system. In order to prevent an uncontrolled spread, i.e. overburdening the health system, schools were closed and students were sent to distance learning. That this measure was a challenge was obvious from the outset because it was new and unprepared for all those involved. In this respect, an educational approach to distance learning is more important than ever, especially since it is not foreseeable when normal operation in the educational system will be possible again. This book presents both theoretical principles and empirical results on distance learning with the aim of providing teachers with assistance so that the corona crisis can also be pedagogically mastered.
